This project was part of the 2022 University of Bath Team Bath Racing Electric effort for the AI driverless car class. I led the control side of the team developing a model predictive controller that used data from the localization and perception modules to determine the route for the car to take. The team competed in the automated driving system class, where each car had to be built and developed by the team, requiring significant effort towards integration of all the sensors and actuators required to control the vehicle. A video showing the matlab simulation of the car around a simulated course can be seen above.
